Vantage Pointe Homes has a documented Quality Control System in place approved by the State of Nebraska. This system is designed to insure that each step of the modular process complies with our strict quality standards.

All Vantage Pointe Homes meet or exceed all state and local building codes. State certified factory inspections are constant and consistent throughout the construction process. Vantage Pointe Homes follow 2000 IRC, 2002 NEC, 2003 IECC, and all applicable local codes.

Off-site home construction can withstand the stress of transportation and generally contain about 30% more lumber than traditionally built homes.

Our homes are eco-friendly by minimizing waste and avoiding environmental exposure and time delays.

All Vantage Pointe Homes come with a one-year written warrantee that includes a manual identifying all the aspects of your new home. Most name brand building products carry various extended warranties past the one-year Vantage Pointe Homes warranty.

Vantage Pointe Homes modular construction started in 1995. Because more and more of our customers wanted homes built long distances from our office, Dan Kubr came up with the idea to implement this type of modular process. Costs were too prohibitive to send workers or subcontractors too far out. Then the idea to build homes in a factory and ship them to the jobsite was born.

This is not a new idea - so what is the difference between our company and other modular home companies? We came from a stick built/site built and remodeling background and have tried to build the same house we constructed on site. This is where the term off-site construction comes from.

Through creative design and engineering, we are delivering one piece housing as large as 2400 square feet.

We offer:
  • Garages, porches and decks assembled on site
  • 1 1/2 story homes with one piece first floor and fold up roof system
  • 2 story homes with one piece first floors and two piece second floors
  • Roof pitches up to 10/12
  • Vaulted and cathedral ceilings

Modular construction has been associated in the past with low pitch roofs, 2 piece construction and low cost materials. That is no longer a fact. Our original goal was to construct a one piece modular home with the same materials and construction process used in site built homes. We have achieved that goal and even improved on the process. Homes that are too large or cannot be moved into tight areas are constructed in two, three or even more sections.

Our company has grown primarily by word of mouth over the past 10 years.

FAQ

When/where did Vantage Pointe Homes, Inc. start building modular homes?

In 1996 we started building homes in Rokeby, NE 3 miles south of Lincoln, NE.

What part of the U.S. does Vantage Pointe deliver homes?

We can deliver homes to Kansas, South Dakota, Iowa, parts of Colorado and all over Nebraska but the majority of our homes have been delivered to customers in the south east and south central parts of Nebraska.

How are Vantage Pointe houses financed?

Most are financed by a traditional lending institution just like an on-site house would be. We also build to VA and FHA requirements if needed (extra charges may apply).

Do lending agencies look at Vantage Pointe homes different then a site built home?

No. Lenders and appraisers have treated our homes the same as site built homes.

Can VPH build Cape Cod (1 1/2 story) and two story homes?

Yes. The Cape Cod style and the two story homes are typically built in 3 pieces. The main level is built in one piece while the second floor is built in 2 sections. The Cape Cod can also be build with an unfinished second floor.

Does Vantage Pointe Homes have any moving restrictions?

Yes. Your house size will depend on what we can deliver to the site. The route will have to be inspected for trees, poles, low hanging wires, etc.

Is Vantage Pointe Homes restricted on the roof pitch of my home?

Most of our homes are built with 5/12 pitch but any pitch can be accommodated to our customers needs.

Can a Vantage Pointe home be installed over a basement?

Our homes must be place on top of a permanent foundation depending on the customers needs. Full basements or crawl spaces are acceptable.

Can my Vantage Pointe home be customized or redesigned to fit my needs?

All the homes built by Vantage Pointe Homes are drawn individually to fit the needs and desires of our customers.

I need a large home, how big can you make my house?

Our factory limits the size our the homes to 30′-0"x70′-0" but larger homes can be built in multiple sections.

Does Vantage Pointe Homes warranty my new home?

Yes we warranty all of our homes with a one year written warranty that includes a manual identifying all the aspects of your new home.
